The department for press and public relations is the ‚mouth‘ of the student body and responsible for communicating its political positions and problems to the public.
In addition to the creation of texts, editorial work and the administration of the various online presences, its tasks include the revision and coordination of printed products such as the AStA Info Book or the „OrgASt“ pocket calendar. In addition, the department has the task of finding authors for the various publications, jointly designing content and taking care of the layout and printing with external help. In addition, the speaker regularly writes press releases on topics relevant to the university and reacts to daily political events. The department maintains the network to the press landscape and is available to their representatives as a contact person.
