The AStA has contracts with three different repair shops in Hannover, in which you can either repair your bicycle yourself or have it repaired for a lot less money than usual. This scheme works because of our solidary system of payments. Every student pays 0.91 € per semester – even if he or she doesn’t have a bike or never makes use of the service.
We also choose repair-shops which are willing to integrate unemployed persons into the professional life. At „pro Beruf“ and „ASG“ you can leave your bike and get it repaired. Normally it only takes a couple of days. You only pay the cost of materials and new parts – not the amount of work.
The „Glocksee“ is a Do-It-Yourself repair shop. You can use their spaces and tools for free.
