Autonomous Feminist Collective

The Autonomous Feminist Collective (Autonomisches Feministisches Kollektiv, AFK) is a group that tries to strengthen the self-determination of women* through its work and contributes to exposing sexism and inequality structures and confronting others with them. It is enshrined as an autonomous structure in the statutes of the constituted student body at the University of Hannover.

The AFK organizes events and campaigns inside and outside the university that do not only address women*, but also explicitly men*.

The AFK meets in the Frauen*raum in the Theodor-Lessing-Haus. In general, the AFK is an open group and anyone who agrees with the principles is invited to join.
