The Department of Social Affairs is the link between the student body and the various counseling services around the university. The department tries to help students with problems both inside and outside the university \u2014 From problems with the examination regulations to accompaniment in legal dispute, private financial troubles, or housing problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In general, the department tries to point out social concerns of the students and to look for improvement possibilities in order to tackle them actively within the student self-administration and to solve them if possible. In doing so, it works closely with the university and student counseling as well as the BAf\u00f6G and social counseling of the AStA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Das Referat Soziales ist die Bindeglied zwischen der Verfassten Studierendenschaft und den diversen Beratungsangeboten rund um die Universit\u00e4t. Das Referat versucht den Studierenden bei allen Problemen, die das Leben so bietet, zu helfen und gemeinsam mit anderen Stellen \u2013 innerhalb, wie au\u00dferhalb der Universit\u00e4t \u2013 zu einer Probleml\u00f6sung beizutragen. Angefangen bei Problemen mit der Pr\u00fcfungsordnung, Begleitung bei Rechtsstreitigkeiten oder bei privaten Finanzierungsproblemen, Problemen eine Unterkunft zu finden\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Generell versucht das Referat soziale Belange der Studierenden aufzuzeigen und Verbesserungsm\u00f6glichkeiten zu suchen um diese dann innerhalb der studentischen Selbstverwaltung aktiv anzugehen und m\u00f6glichst aus der Welt zu schaffen. Dabei arbeitet es vor allem eng mit der Hochschul- und Studienberatung sowie der BAf\u00f6G- und Sozialberatung des AStA zusammen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
